The Granada Music Parents is a non-profit organization of parent volunteers dedicated to the support of music programs at Granada High School. Granada High School has a dynamic music department with multiple performance ensembles, including marching, concert and jazz bands, choir, color guard, drumline, orchestra, and L-Pattern (drum major competition). Working in partnership with GHS and LVJUSD, parent volunteers support the music department through fundraising and logistical support. The school district only provides a small percentage of the funding needed to offer a full range of performance and competition opportunities for our students. Funds raised through CHEF will support our activities throughout the 2022-2023 school year, including pep band performances, competitions for the marching band, color guard, drumline and drum majors, concerts for the choir, jazz bands and orchestra, and music festival participation.

Open Heart Kitchen is the largest hot meal program of its kind in the Tri-Valley Area serving free, nutritious food across multiple locations in Pleasanton, Livermore and Dublin.  There is no qualifying process and meals may be eaten at numerous serving sites or taken to go.  Guests come from all walks of life and Open Heart Kitchen has become a safety net to those in need during challenging times.  Last year, Open Heart Kitchen served more than 2 million meals to those who needed it.

Our vision is that everyone has enough money, meaning, and friends to thrive.

Partners for Change Tri-Valley seeks to inspire and equip our community to reduce poverty and remove the barriers that stand in the way. Our goal is to help cut the poverty rate of our participants by 10%. Studies have proven that 10% is a tipping point, after which change spreads more readily and rapidly. A 10% reduction is an achievable and measurable goal — and it’s enough of a change in each community to tip the scale toward a prosperous and strong nation.
