CHEF is proud to partner with Teen Esteem on this fundraising campaign to support life-changing mental health education for students across the Tri-Valley. Teen Esteem reached a record-breaking 20,000 K-12 students across Alameda and Contra Costa Counties last year, and demand for their programs continues to grow. With your support, Teen Esteem can expand critical programs that help students navigate today’s complex challenges and build confidence, resilience, and healthy decision-making skills.
How Your Gift Helps
With suicide and self-harm at crisis levels among youth, Teen Esteem’s preventative mental health programming is more important than ever. Their interactive school presentations address issues educators say students struggle with most—stress, anxiety, loneliness, bullying, and social media pressures. Teen Esteem is also expanding powerful safe-tech assemblies that help students navigate the risks of the digital age, including cyberbullying, online safety, AI, and the mental health impacts of constant connectivity.
These programs are making a real difference: 97% of students surveyed reported that Teen Esteem’s presentation empowered them to make good decisions that will positively affect their future.
