The One Community Campaign supports three local organizations doing good in our Tri-Valley community. Community Health and Education Foundation (CHEF) is pleased to match all donations this month up to $15,000.

The Violins of Hope is an extraordinary collection of restored violins, violas, and cellos that Jewish musicians played during the Holocaust. These instruments have survived concentration camps, ghettos, pogroms, and many long journeys to tell remarkable stories of injustice, suffering, resilience, and survival. CHEF is proud to support the Violins of Hope concert, keeping alive the history of the Jewish Holocaust.

CHEF’s Miracle Campaign is proud to support Monthly Miracles in its goal to facilitate life-changing blessings for our unhoused and struggling neighbors.  The holiday season is around the corner, and Monthly Miracles is fundraising for its most significant event of the year, Christmas Miracles. Donate confidently, knowing your donation will be matched, with no administrative or processing fees, allowing 150% of funds to reach Monthly Miracles.

It’s October and we have kicked off the Fall Giving Campaign! CHEF is excited to support three hard-working nonprofits in our community.  Every donation helps make a difference. CHEF’s Summer of Giving Campaign enables the bounty of our community to be shared and multiplied. The Summer of Giving 2022 Campaign supports four diverse organizations doing good in our Tri-Valley community. Please help us, help them grow. Donate confidently knowing your donation will be matched, with no administrative or processing fees, allowing 150% of funds to reach these local nonprofits.

Contributions to the Tri-Valley Nonprofit Fund grant program provide immediate, measurable impacts for nonprofit organizations serving the Tri-Valley by offering unrestricted grant funds allowing them to grow and stabilize operations and provide services and programs.

Giving Tuesday is “a day that encourages people to do good.” CHEF is making it easier to give by extending the campaign an entire week. The American Lung Association In conjunction with the Community Health and Education Foundation (C.H.E.F.), and Las Positas Community College will help educate, prepare and protect Tri-Valley residents via the newly launched Tri-Valley Wildfire Preparedness Project.
