CHEF is proud to partner with Spectrum Community Services on the Show Your Love for Seniors campaign. Together, we are helping older adults across Alameda County access the nourishment, care, and connection they need to live safely and with dignity.
For many seniors, a delivered meal is more than food. It is reassurance that someone is checking in. It is a familiar face at the door. It is a lifeline to the community and a reminder that they are not alone.
Spectrum Community Services has spent 55 years ensuring seniors in need are never left behind. Even during the height of the pandemic, Spectrum never missed a day of service. That same commitment continues today through meal delivery, congregate dining programs, wellness checks, and evidence-based fall prevention classes that help older adults remain active, independent, and connected.
How Your Gift Helps
Your donation helps provide fresh meals and wellness checks to more than 550 homebound seniors annually throughout the Tri-Valley. Gifts also support hot meals and social interaction at dining sites along the 880 corridor, as well as certified instructors who lead fall prevention exercise and education classes.
