VCC Sings it Forward: Support Valley Concert Chorale’s Next Chapter

 Valley Concert Chorale (VCC) is an all-volunteer, auditioned, non-profit adult chorus, proudly celebrating over 61 years of musical excellence in the Tri-Valley. Since 1963, we have embraced the diverse tastes of our community, performing everything from classical to contemporary, folk and pop, Broadway, and jazz.

Each season, we present three concert sets across Livermore, Pleasanton, and Dublin, and we host our beloved annual Sing-It-Yourself Messiah, a cherished holiday tradition for over fifteen years. Our collaboration with local performing arts groups—especially children and teens—helps foster interest in choral singing, with instrumental accompaniment enhancing select performances.

This year marks an exciting transition for VCC as we embark on a new era after 25 remarkable years under the leadership of John Emory Bush. While we search for our next Artistic Director, we are fortunate to be led by Interim Director Jerome Lenk and our esteemed Accompanist Daniel Glover, both of whom bring decades of professional experience and advanced degrees from prestigious universities.

Valley Concert Chorale’s mission is to inspire the Tri-Valley community through the transformative power of music, sharing our passion and joy in every live performance. We are dedicated to excellence in choral singing across all genres, nurturing future generations of vocalists, and supporting local music endeavors.
