Aloha for Hope
Aloha for Hope
Compassion in action. Hope in every life.
Aloha for Hope
Aloha is a Hawaiian word with layered meaning – much deeper than just “hello”. It’s respect, care, love, compassion, and kindness.
That’s who Hope Beyond is. Hope Beyond believes that healthy, caring relationships + practical resources = lives restored.
Community Health and Education Foundation (CHEF) is pleased to partner with Hope Beyond Inc., a nonprofit serving women in the California prison system, to bring HOPE BEYOND THE PRISON WALLS.
Through the Aloha for Hope campaign, we’re rallying the community to raise $30,000 to bring hope and healing to the women Hope Beyond serves. To amplify every dollar given, CHEF will match gifts by 50%, increasing the total impact to $45,000
Funds raised will support:
- Trauma-informed programs inside the prisons that bring transformation & healing for a new life
- Mentorship programs for long-term success, through incarceration and beyond
- Community engagement opportunities promoting healthy lifestyles and reducing recidivism
- Resources for confidence & success during the challenges of reintegration into society
- Rebuilding lives from the inside out, restoring dignity, and bringing true freedom
