Build the Food Bank, Bring the Hope

Join us in strengthening the safety net across our Tri-Valley region with a gift to the Build the Food Bank, Bring the Hope campaign. Your donation will help build out a localized food distribution center in Livermore. The Open Heart Food Bank will be a gathering place for small and local food pantries to pick up free grocery items with greater efficiency and less travel costs. The Open Heart Food Bank will also serve as a food receiving and distribution center in the event of a disaster-related emergency that would affect the Tri-Valley, such as an earthquake, wildfire, etc. Your donation will be matched 2:1 through our matching campaign with CHEF.

Fighting hunger and achieving equitable access to food takes a collective effort. Our goal is to redistribute 1 million pounds of food annually within the first decade of the Open Heart Food Bank’s operation.
