Community Health and Education Foundation (CHEF) is proud to partner with Little Miracles, a Tri-Valley nonprofit, to support families in need through the Miracles for Moms Campaign.

Little Miracles, powered by an all-volunteer staff, provides free baby essentials to local families experiencing financial hardship. Each year, they distribute over 1,000 carefully prepared packs filled with essential items—clothing, strollers, shoes, books, toys, and more—while also purchasing critical needs like diapers, formula, and car seats. Every item is given at no cost, helping ease the burden for parents during some of their most challenging moments.

Your Gift Goes Further—Make Twice the Impact

For the month of May, in recognition of Mother’s Day,
CHEF will match every donation by 50%, up to $25,000—turning a $50,000 community goal into $75,000 of total impact.

 

That means:
A $100 gift becomes $150 
A $1,000 gift becomes $1,500 

And because CHEF covers all administrative and processing fees,
100% of your donation—plus the match—goes directly to supporting families.

 

Your generosity helps meet urgent needs for parents like “Sara,” a recent client who was living in her car while nine months pregnant. Through Little Miracles, she received diapers, wipes, an infant car seat, formula, clothing, and more—along with connections to additional local support services. More than essentials, she experienced care, dignity, and the reassurance that she was not alone.

Online donations are limited to $5,000 per transaction; larger gifts may be made via multiple transactions.
