The moment when a child enters the foster care system is a moment of extreme vulnerability and stress. Set To Thrive seeks to ease that moment, at least by a little, by providing a custom bag filled with new, brand name essentials to help set each child on a path to thrive in their new home and community. Each custom bag – called a Thrive Bag – is filled with a backpack or duffel, clothing, shoes and hygiene items, as well as other items to help ease the transition.

Motivated by a profound love and spurred by boundless optimism and dedication, Chabad of the Tri Valley is a home for Jewish life, community, and culture. With a colorful array of courses, programs, schools, clubs, and events for all ages and stages, Chabad bridge partnerships and serves to make the beauties and joys of Jewish tradition and heritage come alive in the greater Tri Valley area.

Livermore Music is an independent, nonprofit organization that works closely with, but is separate from, the Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District.  We are a growing group of parent, student, and community volunteers that strive to support the Livermore High School Instrumental Music Department (LHS IMD) in all facets.  We work year-round to raise funds for the program to support the director, coaches, and students financially, logistically and personally.  While Livermore Music is primarily a booster’s organization, we also build our community by supporting our ensembles’ involvement in community events, local concerts, festivals and more. With your support we can continue to help the Livermore High School Music Department grow and serve even more students and members of our community.

Saint Bartholomew’s is the Episcopal Church’s presence in Livermore. All the way back to its birth in the English Reformation of the early 16th century, the Episcopal Church has been deeply dedicated to two things-making peace amongst religious factions and being a force for healing and reconciliation in the community. St. Bart’s is continuing that tradition in modern day Livermore. We provide space not only for our own Episcopal congregation to worship but also for several other religious groups and civic organizations to meet and fulfill their various missions. Several of these organizations provide food, counseling, encouragement, and many other forms of material and immaterial help to the most vulnerable members of our community. All of the organizations participate in constructive dialogue that fosters peace and understanding amongst groups of people that might otherwise not intersect. In other words, St. Bart’s is a local clearinghouse for healing, help, and peacemaking. Thank you for supporting that mission!
